Congress and Trade Fair
5.7 million young people in Europe are without a job, a whole generation losing perspective. At the same time, companies in Europe’s developing regions experience a workforce shortage and are thus unable to staff job and formation vacancies.
The first operative congress of this kind will provide an answer to the question „What do European youngsters need?“ and will present best practices and solutions from member states.
Congress from 23th to 25th June 2014
Under the auspices of Mr. José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission
The main focus is on solution approaches for one of the most serious bottlenecks in Europe and their operational realisation. Congress from 23th to 25th June 2014 : act and talk about it in lectures and workshops.
Don't miss out, when initiatives from all over Europe will combine solutions and experiences and concrete projects will find new partners! Extend your network and join the initiative. Together we want to take a stand against youth unemployment in Europe.
Come to Saarbrücken from 23-25 June 2014. Register for the congress now.
European trade fair for training and employment
This is where regions, education partners, and companies will present themselves as supporters of this pan-European action to combat youth unemployment. They present their solutions, services, and training and employment offers.
Innovative concepts and instruments: knowledge transfer in the workshops
At the workshops, both labour market stakeholders and human resources staff will benefit from the deep insights into new solution concepts and expand their knowledge so that they can transfer this in their countries. All the participants can test out the new instruments live, for example the integrative talent diagnostics or the employment radar for 131 services from seven new job families.
